I have created a spreadsheet in Microsoft Excel that will give your beam
heading and
distance (in Miles) for your location to any of the 334 DXCC countries.
Feel free to download the file and
enter your location in the appropriate cells.
Beam heading and distance file.
I also have a version for those more accustomed to metric values.
Beam heading and distance file (Kilometers).
Lastly I have a small program to calculate a grid square (GS). Try it and
please, please make suggestions for improvement!

My IC-756ProII and me in the Motorhome.
My FT-5200 2 Meter Rig. The antenna is on the roof where the CB antenna was.
Below is a picture of the ICOM AH-4 tuner mounted on the ladder. It is currently connected to the ladder and
that tunes very nicely on 80-6 meters. You can see the wire coming down from the fiberglass over on the other
side of the ladder
This shows the 33' fiberglass push-up mast. When fully extended, the mast rises about
36 feet over the ground. When running, I just extend 2 sections and it also tunes 80-6 meters.
I have virtually no motor noise from the workhorse but the generator does raise heck.

This page looks so pathetic because I am still trying to create a nice looking
site. But in the meantime, I want to be able to offer my little software
tidbits. Please bear with me whilst I attempt to be creative.
